Asthma is a medical condition in which a person’s airways become inflamed, narrow and swell and also produces extra mucus. Primarily, asthma may cause breathing difficulties either followed by chest pain or severe cough. Asthma treatment generally requires medical diagnosis under the supervision of experienced doctors.

If properly diagnosed, asthma can be cured within few weeks or else it might take a life-time to heal. And according to a latest health care survey by World Health Organization, it revealed that more than 200 million people in the globe are being attacked by asthma.

There are 2 types of asthma –

  • Extrinsic – Usually occurs in childhood or in early adulthood.
  • Intrinsic – Develops in later adulthood stages.
