About Sleep Apnea
Sleep apnea, a common and potentially serious disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts as you sleep. Loud snoring especially when it's accompanied by daytime fatigue may be a sign of sleep apnea. The symptoms are loud and chronic snoring almost every night, snorting or gasping during sleep, pauses in breathing, waking up at night feeling short of breath, daytime sleepiness and fatigue, no matter how much time you spend in bed. The major causes of sleep apnea are overweight, age more than 50, smoking, high blood pressure, thick neck etc. There are more than 1000 herbs in ayurveda which is highly effective in reducing sleep apnea.
