About Restless Legs Syndrome
Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a disorder of the part of the nervous system that causes an urge to move the legs. Because it usually interferes with sleep, it also is considered a sleep disorder. The symptoms of RLS are uncomfortable leg sensations start or become worse when you’re sitting, lying down, or trying to relax and they get worse at night. Condition may be due to an imbalance of the brain chemical dopamine, which sends messages to control muscle movement, heredity, pregnancy, iron deficiency, peripheral neuropathy. In ayurveda it can be cured by using herbal medicated oils and panchakarma therapies.
