About Scabies

Scabies is an itchy, highly contagious skin disease caused by an infestation by the itch mite Sarcoptes scabiei. Mites are small parasites. They burrow into the skin to produce intense itching. Scabies is usually known as kachchu in Ayurveda. Direct skin-to-skin contact is the mode of transmission of scabies. The skin may show signs of small insect-type bites, or the lesions may look like pimples, bumps, or blisters, especially around the wrist, elbow, knee, underarm area, groin, or finger webs. Itching is the main symptom of scabies and other symptoms include skin rashes, blisters, red, dry, sore and swollen skin. Scabies is curable with Ayurvedic Medicines. Local application of the oils which kills the mites of scabies that means herbal insecticide for local use. The oil is made up of combination of herbs, which will cure scabies naturally without any side effects.
