About Acne Vulgaris

In ayurveda it is known as ‘Yowan pidika’. Acne vulgaris (acne) is the formation of papules, pustules, and nodules as a result of obstruction and inflammation of pilosebaceous units. Acne develops on the face and upper trunk. The acne vulgaris caused when the body is unable to remove toxins through excretion leading to contamination of the bloodstream, irregular bowel movement, irregular meal timings, excess starch, sugar, oil and fat consumption.
